All TCU scholarships are competitive;
candidates must attend TCU on a full time basis
and present the following minimums for scholarship
consideration (meeting minimums does not ensure
selection). Fall scholarship review ends June
1 and awards are sent in mid-June. There is no
separate scholarship application; the application
for admission is used as the scholarship application.

received by June 1st.

Requirements for Consideration
TCU’s most competitive scholarship is awarded
to the top five candidates who present the
following for scholarship consideration:
- A highly competitive GPA within the very
strongest academic curriculum
- An Associates of Arts/Science degree or
at least 64 transferable graded college
hours received by June 1st
- Excellence on the Essay
- High leadership, involvement and experience
- Optional Teacher Evaluation
- Outstanding Personal Qualities

Fall Consideration - Completed
Application postmarked by April 15
Spring Consideration - Completed Application
postmarked by October 1st
Related Information
- Scholarships are limited to the first BA/BS
degree.
- Renewal is based on a 3.25 cumulative TCU
GPA and 27 hours taken during the long semesters.
- Merit Scholarships are only for new students
and will not be awarded to current or former
TCU students.
- Only one scholarship is awarded per student
