I think TCU is a great university because: the TCU community is like a family. Faculty and staff truly care about students. 

Hobbies and interests: I am married and have a son in elementary school. When I have time, I enjoy walking, reading, playing my guitar and singing. I also love to travel. 

Favorite class in college: History of Russia. We were given credit for going to see Russian movies with English subtitles. We also attended a Russian Orthodox church service and attended a fair where we were able to purchase hand-made items from Russia.

My advice to you: Listen to your instincts when you are visiting college campuses. Ask yourself questions like: Do I feel comfortable here? Can I see myself here? Does it feel like "home"? Get to know your Admission Counselor. Send them an e-mail, call them, ask if interviews are part of the application process.
