learning community. During your two days on
campus, you will:
- Receive information about academic programs
- Meet with an academic advisor
- Enroll for your Fall semester classes
- Meet other new students
- Be mentored by outstanding upperclass students
- Get your taste of a college learning experience
- Have a great time!
Frog Camp
Don't worry about finding your place at TCU
-- Frog Camp gives you an edge! Frog Camp is
a retreat program designed to help introduce
you to college life -- everything from making
it in the classroom to making every moment count.
When you arrive at camp, you'll become part
of a small "Frog Group" that
includes about 15 campers. Your group will
also include some of TCU's best upperclass
students and some of the university's sharpest
faculty members. Before classes even begin,
you'll know faces and facts that will make
college life easier.
Your days will be packed with activities like
challenge courses, community service projects,
spirit sessions, and small group discussions
on topics ranging from roommates to academic
integrity to global and local culture. Your nights
will be filled with campfires, midnight swimming
and dancing your feet off!
Connections
Connections is a free program designed specifically for you, whether you are
new to the university or transferring from another college. Your group of 25
new students (facilitated by two upper class student mentors and a faculty
sponsor) will gain skills and knowledge that link you to the people and places
of TCU.
