Freshman application deadlines

Early Action If you wish to be reviewed early based on transcripts through your junior year, you must have your application postmarked by November 1. You must take the SAT or ACT no later than November. Nonbinding notification by January 1.
If you believe you are a candidate for the Chancellor's Scholarship, it is highly recommended that you apply by the November 1 deadline, or shortly thereafter.

Early Decision If you wish to be reviewed early for a binding decision based on transcripts through your junior year, you must have your application postmarked by November 1. You must take the SAT or ACT no later than November. You, your counselor, and your parent must sign a document demonstrating an understanding that an admission decision to TCU is contractually binding. Binding notification by January 1. |

Final Deadline If you wish to include your fall semester/trimester grades, you must have your application postmarked by February 15. Notification by April 1. All students who apply by the Final Deadline will be considered for scholarship until funds are depleted.
Applications received after February 15 will be considered on a space-available basis. |

National Candidate Reply Date Tuition and housing deposits are due. |

Transfer application deadlines

Nursing – Accelerated BSN Program Deadline Students must complete their application and submit A2 (HESI) test scores by this date for admission to TCU and for Summer Accelerated Nursing Clinical consideration. Decisions will be sent mid-February. The Accelerated Nursing Program requires that all prerequisites are complete prior to the start of the program. |

Decisions will be sent mid-April. The Traditional Nursing Program requires that all prerequisites are complete prior to the start of the program. |

If your prerequisites are not complete but you wish to pursue a degree in nursing, please select a different deadline below and then select the Nursing Prerequisite major later in the application. |
