| The Child Development Program is designed for students who wish to go into jobs or areas of study in child development such as children’s mental health, preschools or Head Start. The major will also to work well for students who wish to wish to double major in areas such as psychology, social work, criminal justice, and communication sciences. A double major will work well for students planning to be clinicians, counselors, social workers, pediatricians, occupational therapists, lawyers, educators, or speech and language pathologists. This major will give students who want to work with children in these various disciplines an edge in their chosen field of study. |
