Pre-Major (Undecided)
You're not an oddball if you don't know what to major in yet. One in five of our incoming students don't know. And those who do declare a major early on often change their minds later.

The Pre-Major option is the intermediate choice for students ranging from those who-don't-have-a-clue-what-they-want-to-do to those who are pretty-sure-but-still-want-to-explore.

It's a good place to be. Declaring pre-major allows you to remain undecided for up to four semesters, plenty of time to explore lots of options. By your third year, you'll have to decide on a major.

As a pre-major, you'll take a Self-Assessment & Career Exploration class that will help clarify your goals. You'll also explore areas of study within the University Curriculum Requirements (UCR) while meeting degree requirements.
