As a psychology student, you’ll learn how scientific methods are used to study the behavior of animals and human beings, and you’ll use those methods in laboratory settings.
  • Reach out to others as a participant in the selective psychology outreach program, where you'll get hands-on counseling and psychology experience in local agencies like The Women's Center of Tarrant County.
  • Choose courses in the areas of biopsychology, animal behavior, cognitive psychology, social/personality psychology and applied psychology.
  • Research alongside active faculty in areas like cognition, animal learning and human development.

Most psychology graduates continue advanced study in clinical, counseling, organizational, school and experimental psychology. Others enter medical school or law school.
