Major
Engineering
As a TCU engineering major, you’ll become a well-rounded engineer with hands-on experience and technical skills. You’ll practice communication, teamwork and systems-level thinking in lecture and laboratory courses.
  • Lead your own engineering company in the senior year capstone design project, where you’ll work as a team with the senior class to design and produce a product on time and within budget for a real client like Alcon Laboratories, Bell Helicopter Textron, and RockBit Industries.
  • Conduct research with faculty as early as your freshman year, in topics like microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) and optical communications, then help write and present your findings at conferences.
  • Get an electrical or mechanical emphasis to supplement your solid understanding of sound engineering principles.
