To support your selected major, the pre-health professions program prepares you for admission to professional schools in dentistry, allopathic medicine, osteopathic medicine, podiatric medicine, veterinary medicine and optometry, as well as physician assistant and pharmacy programs.
Although no particular majors are preferred, certain courses are required or suggested depending upon the program you intend to enter. Working closely with TCU’s health professions advisory committee, a group of six science faculty members, helps you select appropriate courses.
