Habilitation of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing
As a habilitation of the deaf student, you’ll get the practical experience and preparation you need to teach deaf students in public or private school systems, or to begin graduate study in the habilitation of the deaf and hard of hearing.
  • Listen, closely since your curriculum includes three semesters of clinical practice with deaf and hard of hearing children at TCU’s acclaimed Miller Speech and Hearing Clinic.
  • As a senior, you will student teach in local schools at the elementary and secondary school levels.
  • Get exceptional scores on the EXCET certification exam as a result of individual instruction from faculty.
