Studio Art
As a studio art student, you’ll become more artistically creative and visually sensitive through an intense curriculum that also develops your analytic and communication skills and prepares you to become a successful professional artist.
  • Paint, photograph, print or sculpt the town in an intense art program with individualized instruction from eight professional artists on the faculty.
  • Understand the basics, then design your own projects as an advanced art student.
  • Make the world your canvas by studying drawing at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts in Budapest or studio art at TCU’s partner universities in Mexico and Peru.
  • Intern with local professional artists, art galleries, or one of the four world-class museums in the Fort Worth-Dallas area.

Recent studio art graduates begin careers in art galleries, art museums, or photography studios. Others own art galleries or show their works internationally. Many enter graduate schools for advanced studies.
