By majoring in education of exceptional children, you’ll prepare to teach elementary school or work in special education in grades pre-K through 12 while learning and teaching in a range of unique on-campus and off-campus learning environments.
- Learn alongside learners
working with learning disabled and Down syndrome children in TCU’s distinctive 35-year old Starpoint School and KinderFrogs School.
- Watch and work with students in unique environments like the Amon Carter Museum, the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History and River Legacy Living Science Center.
- Learn how to teach in diverse classroom settings including urban schools and bilingual classrooms.
- Work with faculty committed to improving teaching and learning for all students.
